Odoo ERP for a Construction Company: From Quote to Turnkey
NAVI-2011 is a Plovdiv-based construction company with more than 15 years of experience in residential, industrial and commercial construction. Voidweb implemented Odoo as a unified ERP system: from the contract and the BOQ, through the warehouse, machinery and site teams, to accounting kept entirely in Odoo. Management now sees the cost price and profitability of every site in real time.

Spreadsheets, paper protocols and a separate accounting program.
NAVI-2011 carries out a full cycle of construction services: shell construction, industrial buildings, installations, finishing works and repairs. The company works with permanent crews, its own machinery and long-standing suppliers of concrete and materials, and often manages several sites at the same time.
However, the information for each site was scattered across spreadsheets, paper protocols and a separate accounting program.

One system, built into the way of working.
Voidweb began by mapping the processes on site: how a project is won, how a BOQ is prepared, how materials reach the site and how completed work is reported. The standard Odoo modules covered the typical processes, and where construction has its own rules, the system was additionally configured.
The project was delivered in 5 weeks by one Odoo specialist from Voidweb, with all of the accounting and the Bulgarian localisation handled in-house.
From contract to accounting in one Odoo system.
Quotes, contracts and BOQs. Quotes from templates for the types of construction and installation works, with quantities and unit prices. The contract with the client becomes a site with an agreed value, deadlines and stages, and bills of quantities are linked directly to the site budget.
Construction sites. Every site has stages, tasks and a schedule, visible in a calendar and a Gantt chart. Form 19 protocols are generated by the system, invoicing is by stage and protocol, and an analytic account for every site collects revenue, materials, labour and machinery. Subcontractors' work and expenses are reported directly on the relevant site.
Procurement and warehouse. Material requests from the site and purchase orders to the suppliers, a central warehouse and site warehouses with real-time stock levels, and issuing of materials per site, so that every delivery enters the cost price.
Machinery and site teams. A register of machines and equipment, allocated to sites, with planned maintenance, repairs and machinery costs charged to the site. Employees are allocated to sites with their working time tracked, and labour costs are reflected automatically in the cost price.
Accounting under Bulgarian rules. All of NAVI-2011's accounting is kept in Odoo, with no parallel accounting program. It is connected to the operational processes and configured in line with Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation, with automatic journal entries, analytic accounting by site, VAT journals and reporting, and financial statements.
Documents and management reports. Contracts, invoices, protocols and site photos are kept in one place, under the relevant site. Management has reports on budget versus actual cost, cost price, profitability and financial result per site and for the whole company.
Ready for the next step. The system is built to be extended without a new migration: with in-house residential construction and property sales, as well as with renting out construction machinery.

Processes before modules.
We started from how NAVI-2011 actually works on site, not from a list of features. That is why the system speaks the language of the builder: BOQs, Form 19 protocols, construction and installation works. Official Odoo partner with local expertise: the accounting and the Bulgarian localisation were done by our own team, with no external subcontractor. We operate in Bulgarian, share the same time zone and are located nearby in Plovdiv.
