Building an Online Invoicing Platform for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses

Dashboard. After signing in, the user sees a quick, summarised overview of the state of the business: overdue, unpaid and paid invoices, income, expenses and profit, top clients, bank balance, and the AI assistant Mira in a side panel.

Invoices. The main workspace for issuing and managing all types of commercial documents: invoices, proforma invoices, credit and debit notes, in Bulgarian or English, with a PDF in the company's logo, colours and font, sending by email, a public link for the client, recurring invoices and automatic payment reminders.

Quotes. Created in a similar way to invoices. The client opens a public link and sees "Accept" and "Decline" buttons, and an accepted quote can be converted into a draft invoice with one confirmation.

Clients and Services. Clients are the organisation's address book, with EU VAT number validation (VIES) that offers to fill in the name, address and company ID automatically. Services are a catalogue of predefined services with unit, price and notes.

Projects. Invoices, quotes and tasks are grouped around an engagement with a client. Projects are shown as a board with four statuses or as a table, and each project has its own dashboard.

Banking. Bank accounts are connected through open banking, and all bank transactions are shown in one place. Invoices and receipts sent to a dedicated incoming email address are recognised automatically, with AI suggestions for the most likely matching transaction.

Reports. Three sections – "Sales", "By clients" and "By services" – with a choice of period and a "VAT" switch, and PDF export of the current report.

Team, Roles and Accountant Access. The owner or administrators invite new people and accountants and assign roles with specific access permissions. The history (audit log) shows who performed each significant action and when.
